A Short Trip to Tahoe

Mom and I decided to take a short trip to Tahoe this past weekend to visit my little brother who’s attending the city college up in South Lake Tahoe. We weren’t there maybe 24 hours but I took some pictures of the beautiful snowy scenery that we just don’t have in the Bay Area. I haven’t been to Tahoe in years, it’s definitely a different world up there. The colors and the large trees are just something else. I couldn’t believe the vibrancy of some of the trees! It got me really excited for a wedding that I’m photographing in May of Amanda & Dalyn at Incline Village, the day after my birthday! I’m looking forward to seeing Tahoe in the spring, as I’m sure the lake and weather will be BEAUTIFUL around that time! Plus, I get to spend my birthday in Tahoe :)!

“Smile normal, Dalton.” “Dalton, that’s not normal.” He’s always made goofy faces in pictures…I think he changed his face 3 times while I was trying to take a “normal” picture of him!

Trying to quickly take pictures because it was freezing outside, my mom snapped this of us. Realizing after, “Ah man, I probably look like a fat burnt marshmallow in this jacket!” Yup.
